Koko's Village is on a 2.5 acre piece of land in the rural village of Sitatunga, about 13 miles from Kitale, Kenya. We have a large greenhouse that provides tomatoes and cabbage year-round for the students meals and a large plot of land for growing corn and beans. The majority of the food consumed at the school comes from the farm. There is a deep well with two tanks and spigots for the farm, students hygiene and hydration and for the local community. We are truly blessed with what we have!
A big thank you to all of the generous donations from many individuals, and corporations, Because of you, Koko's Village has built two additional classrooms to accommodate 100 students, from Baby Class through Class 4. We are still in need of 3 additinal classrooms for the January 2019 school year.
Currently, Koko's Village School has seven classrooms with seven teachers, one site maintenance & grounds manager, and one cook. There are over 100 students from the baby class up to class 4. These children range in age, from 3-10. They enjoy playing soccer, jumping rope, and watching Christian videos on computers donated by people like you.
